Okay, so the chances of the rest of you playing this are slim, but believe me this is fecking awesome. PS3 exclusive, it is a cross between Tomb Raider and Gears of War. It looks stunning (and like Killzone 2 and Little Big Planet, it's better visually than anything I have seen on the 360) and personally I think it is better than Gears of War as it has the puzzle elements throughout the game that you see in Tomb Raider games as well as the big action pieces that you would expect from this sort of game. There are bits that are genuinely inspiring and original and the way the main character Drake interacts with his environment is fantastic. GamesTM magazine said in their review that this was a contender for Game of the Year. I would say it is as good as Modern Warfare 2 from what I have played so far.

Anyone considering getting a PS3 should make this a priority purchase - the first game was good, but this is a huge improvement and I'm enjoying it immensely

I have heard many good things about this game, but it's being solely on the PS3 is bad news for us, as no... no-one here will play it no doubt!
So, how many good games on the PS3 does that make now (I mean exclusive)?

lol, not many mate. Killzone 2 is great, not quite as good as Gears or Halo though despite looking much better than either.

Little Big Planet is superb. I personally prefer both of the 2 x Motorstorm games to  any of the racing games on the 360 I have played.

Demon's Souls is also due out in a few months. The NTSC release got 10 out of 10 in EDGE this month. Looks like that will be a killer app too, as will God of War III. There is also the sequel to ICO and Shadow of the Colossus coming out in 2010 which I am already creaming myself over (most wanted game for 2010 for me unless L4D3 is announced!)

I played Little Big Planet when I had a PC. You're right, it's a superb little game with a great soundtrack. I felt as though they could have done more with the idea though (and no doubt they will with a sequel).

I have to say that I loved Motorstorm too... this coming from a guy that pretty much hates racing games (apart from Mario Kart and Burnout).

Still, it's not enough to justify buying a PS3. Maybe once the price comes down and a few more AAA titles come out it may become worth it. I have to say, God of War 3 is looking amazing... and a Shadow or the Colossus sequel has the recipe of a masterpiece.

Well, there you go. GAMEStm game of the year runner-up is UNCHARTED 2. Game of the year was DEMONS SOUL, also a PS3 exclusive that hasn't been released over here yet but is supposed to be fecking brilliant.

Anyways, I know I bleat on about this, but if you want to play the best games, you have to own all of the consoles. Uncharted 2 is quite brilliant, believe me and it pains me to think people miss out on class games like this simply because they don't have a PS3 or Wii!!! There are also some superb PS3 exclusive download games now on the Playstation Store (Sony's equivalent to X-Box LIVE arcade). You may have heard of Flower (incidently this came in 9th in the top 10 games of the year multiformat) which is PS3 exclusive and is fantastic (a bit like REZ but instead of the techno shmup futuristic thang is a mellow orchestral masterpiece where you control a petal! - sounds rubbish but it aint!)

Aw, Super Mario Galaxy is probably the best game I have ever played. Worth buying a Wii for. Highly recommend Zelda: Twilight Princess too, it starts off as a very good game but by the end, it is simply brilliant.

I had Twilight Princess on the gamecube. Loved it to bits. Recently it was announced that a 100% Wii Zelda is being made.
